Thomas C. Caldwell, NHA, Executive Director

Tom has 12 years of health care experience. He began as a food service director managing a health care community in California. He returned to Pennsylvania as an operations analyst and project manager for the same community, and also had success in marketing/product management and sales for Avery Dennison. Caldwell decided to change careers and become a Nursing Home Administrator in 2010 after a personal experience. His grandmother, whom he affectionately called Helen, was an important person in his life, as well as a very strong-willed woman. Caldwell saw her in a nursing home two years prior to her passing and knew at that time, in his heart, that her dignity of life could have been much better. He says the decision to change careers was rather easy. His experiences since then have brought a higher level of fulfillment to his professional life. His goals are to enhance the quality of life, quality of care and quality of safety for residents and staff.
